My London Home was founded in 2002 by Steven A. Herd.


Having been in the industry since the mid 80’s, Steven had become disillusioned with the negative practices which had soured the industry’s public image. As a result of this, he made the decision to set up his own business which would build its reputation based on his professionalism and strong ethical values.
Initially offering a “platinum” service to a select number of clients, MyLondonHome proved to have a winning formula and after only one year, Andrew Griffith was brought on board. Sharing Steven’s passion for excellence and strong work ethics, he played a fundamental role in expanding the company’s portfolio.
Two years on and focus was given to the further development of the business as a whole. As a result of his tireless dedication and invaluable contribution to the business Andrew Griffith was awarded Director status. Annette Peck was hired to revitalise the property management department. Additionally, Annette provided strategic support to the business through a necessary period of growth. Throughout this period the business continued to grow organically.

Today, we have a high calibre team of negotiators and advisers who have undergone a rigorous selection process and subsequent intensive training to ensure that our commitment to providing nothing but the highest level of service to our clients is sustained. Without sacrificing Steven’s exacting standards of exceptional service levels with ethical business practices, together, we have built a company that is unrivalled within its field.

The award was announced by Phil Spencer, presenter of Channel 4’s Location, Location property programme at a lavish luncheon & ceremony in Mayfair, London attended by 450 of the UK’s top estate and letting agents. Phil Spencer said “By entering the awards agents have put their reputation on the line, they’ve been brave, they’ve done what others are afraid to do. They’ve said to their customers and their competitors – that they believe in providing the best possible service and they want to prove it. They’ve been recognised for their bravery and all that hard work involved to get to the final shortlist.”
The results of the competition were determined by research carried out amongst customers who are asked a series of questions about the service they have received from their agent. Over 19,000 votes were received making the awards the most important and valuable in the industry.
